Topping this weeks post on the mini flying DeLorian comes a super lightweight 1:1 model of a real car made of foam and filled with Hellium. The finish is very realistic and although an illusion, this clip gives me hope that the real 'future' is on its way :-P

This thing is amazing! Hobby model makers have constructed a flying miniture DeLorian with a range of LED's making the thing a sweet replica from the movies! Im sure if this went into production these guys would be rich.

The eagerly anticipated IRON SKY movie is one step closer with the launch of the full length theatrical trailer. Iron Sky (by the makers of Star Wreck) is a Sci-fi movie by Sci-fi fans for Sci-fi fans. Made on a slither of usual Hollywood budgets, it has been Independently made with a combination of traditional indy movie financing and the exiting 'crowd funding' technique. This is the premise of the dark sci-fi comedy Iron Sky, the next project by the creators of the Internet hit Star Wreck that has to date reached over eight million viewers around the globe. Star Wreck was a forerunner in utilising the Internet for publicity and distribution, and Iron Sky will build on that – this time as an international co-production with a budget of about 7.5 million euros, big name actors, and aimed at a worldwide theatrical release in 2012."

Now this movie is looking very interesting for many reasons, obviously we are loving the retro wartime sci-fi vibe. From the success of Star Wreck, the guys have picked up enough momentum for a bigger movie. Funded independently by YOU! Yes that's right, crowd funding is driving the production. Go ahead and contribute under the comical guise of buying 'war bonds' and get behind the scenes access. The styling of this movie is looking great and i really like their approach. Cant wait to go watch it.

Cybermen want you! Dr Who streetwear t-shirt release

For this release we wanted to pay homage to the Cybermen and help them convey their instructions to mankind. This Cyberman agenda, in the fashion of an old army propaganda poster, i suppose this would be their marketing campaign.

Here is our latest design, Cybermen want you! Released exclusively at our last Sci-Fi expo, its now available to all through our online store.

If you are unaware, the Cybermen are a notorious Dr Who villain. Said to be from Earths twin planet Mondas they were once like humans, but have artificially upgraded their bodies to what they believe is a superior form. They have upgraded so far that they have lost there human like compassion. They attempt, when ever possible, to 'convert' humans into Cybermen. They are governed by a cold faceless company called Cybus Industries. Wiki knows much more about Cybermen then i ever will
